We recently wore out a fridge that had been installed in 2001. Door gaskets failed, door plastic cracking, etc. It still ran fine. My brother had one he wasn't using that was in a lot better shape. We installed that instead. After-fact, we discovered that one was built in 1989!
So how old is the fridge?
