Subject: RE: Sawed a nice sized black walnut

Mid Michigan
My grandfather planted `10 black walnut tree about the time this house was built in 1901. They got old so first cut 5 and took to sawmill the had boards kiln dried. Later had bandsaw mills cut the rest has they got old.
A friend I worked with has made ~ 20 pieces of furniture for me from them. This desk, office wall cabinets and bookcase all walnut. Bed and two dressers. Corner China Cabinet, Small tables beside recliner and several other.

I tried to make a 1/16 scale model of out Keck Gonnerman Bean and Pea Huller but was allergic to the walnut dust so never finished it.
