PLEASE take the time to email the auction company. There was a 13% $1000 max auction. I emailed auction company. Two days later they called me. “We talked to seller. It’s 10% now. Thank you for contacting us”
I just sent polite. “Hi bidder # 1234 looking at xyz auction. Saw 13%. I will not even look at items at that rate”
So the seller just arbitrarily throws out a buyers premium for their auction that they hired an auctioneer to manage. Sounds like a great reputable auctioneer I'd want to do business with, blaming the seller for their excessive fees. Probably nailing the seller for 10% as well. |
