Nw Iowa | I think we are in perfect storm of huge demand with hi farm prices and shortages of parts and labor. .It is going to take awhile to sort out. I also think average farmer has way more equip than they had even 5-7 years ago. I also think avg farmer is starting to increase their machinery debt once again because of new cost. Will be interesting to see where it all shakes out. Will also be interesting to see where commodity price vs inputs land for next year. I am probably too negative but I am guessing in next two years or so a some negative farm incomes. The cost of new equipment cannot be supported by normal margins and for those that say this time is different? Look at history. | |
