NC Ohio | Live edge slab value seems to be all over the place, pretty much worth whatever you can get for it. Some guys work hard to develop a market for it and can get good money, other guys end up cutting it up for firewood. Being kiln dried is a big plus, but depending on how long ago it was dried and how it was stored it may or may not still be dry.
If you are selling it as a finished product the value of the wood doesn't really matter. The value of the finished product would depend on you how well you market it, quality of finished product, and your local market. | |
