Indiana | I would cut it now. Then in 10 to 14 days spray insecticide, 1 lb per acre of table sugar, 10 lbs per acre of sprayable AMS. We spray this along with another foliar of 4-16-4. Try to do this after every cutting. The sugar will provide 1 weeks worth of energy for the alfalfa. Our protein is better and our leaves are bigger. Really helps with tonage in a stress year.
