Subject: RE: Canada bans single use plastics

All of this recycling and environmental stuff is full of hypocrisy.

Why go after plastic straws but allow million upon millions of plastic water and pop bottles be sold every year?

Why get rid of plastic bags when so much of what we need them for is to carry items that are sold in disposable plastic packaging.

Why are household appliances, and so many other items, not made to last or be repaired anymore? Long lasting and repairable items would save an unbelievable amount of waste, but the environmental bunch don’t seem to care.

Why is recyclable and renewable all the rage and yet paper bags don’t seem to be part of the solution.

How serious are they about the environment when healthy people have been mandated to use billions upon billions of disposable masks. Also, shouldn’t they be considered hazardous waste if they actually did filter out and capture the covid virus? Just sayin.
