Give him a list of jobs that need done. Morning then afternoon. If you micro manage him, he'll just leave.
My neighbor had 800 acres all touching the yard. Always late with everything. Some people are just that way. He only got moving in a timely manner when kids came home and helped. Long retired and rented everything out 10 yrs ago
