Central Iowa | Took a vacation 10 or 15 years ago. Got on 20 off of I35 in Iowa took it till in to Wyoming. Was a great trip stopped when ever I saw anything interesting. Stopped and visited a friends parents. Got to Basset and couldn't get a room, family was having a reunion took all the motel rooms. Place I stopped at suggested to go down to the fairgrounds, could sleep there ok and had a bathroom open, told me to come back in the morning and she would let me take a shower. Wouldn't let me give her any money. Was a wonderful trip. Thanks for the tip. | |
