Have always felt the same here. Even though we most often deal with high humidity a tedder would be a leaf stripper if used a minute too late.
Adding orchard grass to the mix has been a life saver re dying time, especially on the challenging first cut, and the demand for alfalfa/orchard grass is excellent.
