South Central MN | Similar thing happened to a guy that lived not too far from me some years back, was mowing the road ditch or on some slope and the mower ended up on top of him, can still remember a then co-worker of mine asking if I knew the guy, then mentioned what happened. That guy used to do some construction stuff when he was young, and they would mix up asbestos and something else into stuff similar to concrete mix for something, in the end that wasn't what did him in.
I've always hated driving something on a slope that didn't have a cab or some roll protection, even if it was a small riding mower. I will use the weedwhacker instead. Still don't know how the one tractor didn't tip over one day a couple winters ago when it got stuck off the edge of my sister's driveway, guessing the weight of the snowblower on the 3 pt. and the deep snow it was sliding into held it up. That was nerve wracking enough even with the thing having a cab. | |
