you can hay them, they were originally brought over from Europe as a forage crop. I would try and find some group 6/7 beans from down south that will get taller and make more forage. What are your goals and objectives. There may be other species that will work better for you. As far as grazing, you will need to be careful, they are a legume. Id make sure they are full, have access to some ruffage and introduce them slowly!
