Not sure who it was (Mr Buffet or Mr Bogle), but one of the investing greats said

"Be greedy when people are fearful, and be fearful when people are greedy"


^^^^^^^^^^ This right here. Was buying houses before pandemic. (When they would be on the market a long time) But as soon as it showed up all over the internet, Buy rentals, Buy houses. Then everyone started to go crazy in housing market I sold out. (Didn't really plan to sell out of them, and it worked out great. Was paid good rents plus appreciation over the relatively short time I owned them worked out great)
