Tuscola, IL | Those tractors have massive condensers up front and are notorious for tripping the low pressure switch when even slightly low on refrigerant. You can either add some refrigerant to get it away from the low pressure switch (but you don’t want to end up running into the high pressure switch if you overfill), or you can bypass the low pressure switch. I don’t recommend this, especially without a set of gauges to know exactly where your pressure is running, but I have done it once I verify it’s not pulling a vacuum on the low side. | |
