Going from R12 to R134a is not a good idea. The compressors and other "hardware" is different.
It’s obvious you have no real working experience with that statement on A/C conversions. I have converted our 8700, TW30, Gleaner M3, and Case 1690. All blow cold air with 134a using the same compressors and condensers. None have to be recharged every year either. I have replaced the hoses on the 1690, 8700, and TW30 due to age. One hose on the gleaner started leaking at the crimp. That would have had to happen with R12 in the system. Hoses have a finite life. |
