Northern Minnesota

Russ In Idaho - 6/24/2022 06:24 Redrobin, I'm sure hoping for reform. But I have little faith in elected officials and government streamlining this reform. My heck they refuse to enforce the Packers Stockyards act in place now. Instead of inforcing it the last few years the government just gave hush money to cattleman to shut them up a year ago. I have to deal with federal government on a regular basis, everytime the rules change. Even on state levels, for instance Idaho legislature came out and was going to inforce landowners and grazers water rights on public lands with BLM & FS. Well all that did was screw up our relationship with government officials, stop all work we had been doing with them. Yes like everyone says I'm from the government, I'm here to help you. It seems the help is worse somedays than the original problem. The whole reason we can't get new start up processing plants in our area is because of federal government. Have an person here that had tried for 3 years to just government to look at his plans for new packing plant. Still can't get his papers reviewed. He had to give up and buy an existing plant, and is going to remodel it.

The "government" gets a lot of blame on Stock Talk.  And it deserves it!

But the U.S. is not global yet.  Let's throw the bums out.  Voters/citizens need to do THEIR part.  Get on board:
