Pittsburg, Kansas | We were mainly keeping it going because we had good long term employees that we thought a lot of. Wife and I had mostly lost interest, but if they wanted to continue farming we would keep it going. But then we realized that for the most part they were all highly employable and that they could have new jobs almost immediately when they applied, which turned out to be true.
We were keeping it going for employees after we had lost the desire to do it ourselves. Turned out that was not a great reason. |
