I have also wondered what happened to this young man. I haven't been able to find out anything via "normal" news sources. I pray that he will be found in good health but that doesn't seem likely based on what I have heard so far.

His situation peaked my interest so I looked for his farm on google earth and found the same circle Russ found. Curiosity got the best of me so I did some measuring.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but according to google earth and Acme Plainmeter that circle is about 1/2 mile in diameter. If my country school math is correct that circle contains 21,884,544 square feet (A=pi x radius squared?). According to that method the circle would be just over 500 acres. However when I plot it out using the method shown below on Acme Plainmeter I only get 130 acres. Which is correct? I know that doesn't help save the boy, just wondered where my "cyphering" went the way of Jethro Bodine.
