Soldiers Grove Wi. 54655 | Sold fats for $.3.00/ hanging wt. this spring plus processing. Was thinking about bumping to $3.25 this fall but I'll probably leave it at $3.00 again. I'll only sell 10 head this fall but sold just about 30 last winter and spring.. I have people coming from 4 hours away to pick it up and calling me to order for this Sept. already. They know what it would cost in the store and they like my product. I don't give hormones and they are pastured to 500-600#s. Black and Red Angus.. At that point I go with corn/Kent Protein mix and free choice hay or pasture. They know the farmers are needing the extra money to keep feeding cattle to make a living (especially now) with what they are paying in the stores and restaurants..
