The Management came to me today with, what he called, "a strange request". A guy came to see us yesterday that lives in the village. His dad used to work on the farm decades ago and recently died. Before he did, they asked him what he wanted to be done with his ashes. He said he didn't care. Then came back and said he'd like them spread on the fields or planted. Soooo, in the autumn, when I'm drilling a particular field, he's going to come out with his dad's ashes, and we're going to tip them in the drill and plant him. Seems a great idea to me
