Helped a customer do this to a DTS10 six or seven years ago using a Trimble 750 with FieldIQ. He wanted to continue to use the raven for rate control which was fine. Basically we took out the boom switches, removed the signal wire from each switch, and hooked up a Trimble Signal Input Module to the output from each of the individual boom switches. We then used a section control module to to send the boom switching signal down the wire for each boom valve that we removed from the boom switches. By hooking everything up this way, we retained the use of the boom switches for manual section control. The master switch on the handle also still functioned since it cut power to the bank of boom switches. The output from the section module was already teed in the Hagie wiring so that the boom signal would get to the boom valves as well as the raven 460 boom sense line so that rate control would respond correctly when individual sections were shut off. Overall this worked well.
