Subject: Mold in a pedestal sink overflow

Leesport, PA
We have a pedestal sink in the house where we have been fighting a mold/mildew smell for the last several months. I believe its coming from the overflow holes/channel. I've tried putting baking soda down the holes and adding vinegar, letting the mixture sit for a bit, and then flushing with water. This seems to help for a couple of weeks at a time. Any tips or tricks for cleaning this type of area more thoroughly?

Thanks,

Ryan
