looking at bob dole wheat this morning and was amazed at how much freeze, white heads, damage is showing up in it. estimating about 25% of heads are turning white.  kinda thought we avoided that problem and was going to have a average crop. it looks like going to be dealing with crop insurance  gaurantees. thought wheat planted october 20th would have been late enough to get by with late spring freeze.
