Eastern Shore of MD | I would say if you have 80K average that is fairly uniform then leave them. I would think that would give you full yield potential. Personally, below 80K is where we consider replanting/ over planting.
We were over planting yesterday - leaving previous stand of 40-60K - by planting at an angle to the old rows. Slugs ate the rest.
