Subject: No tilling planting issues

north central iowa
Trying to plant soybeans into standing cornstalks with a 3600 kinze interplant planter, and am having problems with rootballs sticking in closing wheels. I have the attachments that keep the root balls from getting too far in, but they are still plugging up. The cornstalks are very hard and when the planter hits them they uproot and it is kind of a mess. I loosened up the down pressure on the closing wheels which might of helped a little, but I am still stopping frequently to unplug. Any advice is appreciated. progress is slow and frustrating.
