Another vote for a rotary hoe. Just picked up a JD 400 today, dealer said they are moving fast. For standing stalks as long as the stalks are dry put it down deep and go like hell! Loose Root balls is what plugs them up and in notill you don’t have those. Speed is of the utmost importance. You need to have enough momentum in those wheels to rip and shred any residue that falls in there.
