If it is a Trimble set on auto select it will not find the new sat. Must be set on 135.


Yes, it would seem that the way mine was set it should have automatically switched from 138 to 135. I had read that this "automatic" switch over was not going to work for some reason so I did mine manually last week.

I forced my Trimble 750 to make the change last week from 138 auto to 135 Only. It worked then since both were healthy.

I read here of the problems people were having who were not aware that 138 was going to die on May 1. I am rained out but my tractor is outside so just to be sure, I turned on the Trimble 750. It appeared to work again yesterday so I believe I'm good to go.

The procedure was very simple on the Trimble 750. Although the concept is the same, the actual procedure will vary from model to model and brand to brand. Some may require connection to a PC with a special configuration program. Others may do this automatically. Your situation will vary.
