Subject: RE: “Wild West of Canadian Grain Trading”

Saskatchewan
I sold some flax to them for $46/bu. I took a good representative sample at harvest and sent it in to Constantini to be graded and it came back at 3% dockage. Load went to a processor in north Dakota and when I got the cheque in the mail a month later it was 8% dockage. They didn't get it all in the first load so they had to come for another 12 tonnes to finish off the contract and the trucker had another half load from another customer who had the exact same story. Constantini says there is nothing they can do about it as its on the buyers end. But they sent the name on the cheque was constantini, so shouldn't they ultimately be responsible. Never again.
