Man I ask other farmers for advice. Not salesman usually. And if I do ask a salesman I ask them what all the other farmers are putting out. And I do my own scouting. I’d think when large enough paying to have an independent crop consultant to help scout would be preferred. There’s just less conflict of interest that way in my opinion
