1. Don't buy seed from a dealer who also farms
I'm sure you have reasons to justify this, but I'm just the opposite. I'd rather buy (and currently do) from a dealer that does farm. I used to use one that were a great group of guys but none of them have ever sat in the seat of a tractor or had a dime in the game. I admit I don't know everything about farming and seems like every year have questions about something different, so I like to have someone to contact that has or is battling the same issues. |
