Once again, the only way you would have an overgrown jungle is if you have let waterhemp go to seed. If you have let them go to seed you probably need to reevaluate your program.

But I would agree, if you are going to have an overgrown jungle you should use a pre.


Overgrown jungle? Only takes a couple of waterhemp plants to leave behind a mess. That is why a pre is very important. Killing a plant before it comes up leaves less for those who strive for complete control (bean walking). I fully know that complete control won't happen, but adopting that mentality is what you need to maintain to defeat waterhemp/palmer each year. Our fields show it every year.

Now if you are talking organic farming, that can add another layer of differences too.
