Subject: Rye rolling- how long after glyphosate application?

I have a field we planted to cereal rye at 35lbs/ac. Like a lot of folks this year it got bigger than anticipated. We planted green into 24” tall rye with heads starting to form. We sprayed three days after planting with gly, and Resicore. We have a “crumbled” that we normally pull behind the disk. I think it would be beneficial to lay the rye down to let the sun reach my future corn plants. My questions: is lying the rye down necessary? How long after the herbicide application should this be done?
