SE SD | My 8870 has had the squeal on and off over the years when running continuous hydraulics. Sometimes changing the rate (twist knows just outside the rear window) helped.
But fast forward to this year. I replaced all of the o-rings, slipper seals and cartridges in the remote couplers. There has been no squeal at all and the levers hold nicely in the detent position. I always fought with them popping into neutral in previous years.
Edit: I believe having the proper case drain line can make a difference, too.
