NorthEast Alabama | I will also utilize some winter annuals, probably ryegrass and crimson clover. Might try the winter rye too. I have four separate pastures approximately 25 acres each that I will rotate about 40 head thru. I’m hoping to graze Sorghum Sudan starting around first of July, then rotate to Bermuda mix grass pasture, then go to stockpiled Sorghum Sudan until the ryegrass and clover come on strong in spring.
How early can I plant winter/cereal rye, and how soon in fall can I graze it? | |
