If that's what works for you, great ! But those other guys "shoving dirt uphill" are doing what they consider the most profitable for their operation. Who are we to judge just because its not the way we do it.
A large portion of my farm is organic. Its more profitable than any conventional farm around here, but I don't sit here and judge others for how they manage their ground. I started off with nothing too. I'm buying multiple farms as well as trying to upgrade equipment. We all do what we feel works best for our lives and our operations. That's all I'm saying.
