Have you ran this planter on this tractor before? Are you pushing the scv button into "float" to shut the vac off? If not, I think that might be your problem. The vac motor needs to be able to coast to a stop when the flow is shut off, not stop abruptly. Maybe it's different with the 8000 series tractors, idk, but that's the way it works with the 4240 we plant with.
