| I have changed out bent posts on several 3500 8 rows. It bends the round shaft that goes down through the bearings.
What can happen is if the planter is lowered and not in alignment with the roller guides, the left side roller will roll down the back side of the guide and the right side will sit on top. The cylinder is strong enough to pull it crooked far enough to bend the post, break the top of the lower cylinder mount, or snap the bolts that hold the bottom bearing cap on. | |
