The bottom of the head is where I would check on the right side so it is away from the exhaust. 200 is running hot and 230 is about to melt something important. It's also helpful to compare the top to the bottom of the radiator, and the thermostat housing above and below the thermostat.

I was taking it off the head right by the injectors cuz that's the easiest to get to. Spread manure and exhaust temperature is running about 800 block temperature by the exhaust manifolds only 290, no slobbering out the radiator I think the gauge went South on me. I did notice it was off the cold mark when I started it.
Thanks for the coming back, hope I'm not making the mistake but I need to get this manure spread before the planter hits the last field
