I would spade out the circle of dead grass.

I would find a corner of the lawn that isn’t noticeable and spade out a same size patch of good lawn.

Swap the patches.

Tamp down firmly.

Water a little if things get dry, keep an eye on that anyhow into fall.

Should root right in and be good to go.
