| Drive by my rows of straw bales every day. Today I needed one its been awhile since I have used a straw bale from that row. There between the rows,two 14 month old heifers. They went in one end and the row got closer together and was hard to push through to get out. My thoughts were, how did they get there and how long have they been there. I while back I left the gate open and most of the 40 were out and some in the bale yard. They had no other opportunity to get there. That was 8 days earlier. They were hungry and thirty but did not look any worse for wear. Luckily its been cool and had a little rain. Has that happened to any one else? | |
