Not a huge fan either, but those LCS' have had a nightmare of reduction gear and combination gear issues that have cost millions and still aren't right even after all that.  Continuing to try to make them reliable could be just throwing more tax dollars away than has already been done.  Still a landslide of money wasted either way it goes.
