Minnesota/Kentucky fertility based on ENERGY
Not sure where your located? But if you want really good grass the following would be a program;
1. Ammonium Nitrate 150 lbs. per acre
2. Potassium chloride 50 lbs. per acre
3. Pell lime 100 lbs. per acre
4. Ammonium sulfate 100 lbs. per acre
5. Soft rock phosphate 100 lbs. per acre
The ammonium nitrate is 16.5 ammonium nitrogen and 16.5 nitrate. Nitrate is the first to release and it forces the plant to be vegetative or male dominate. The chloride element has the same properties.
The sulfate increases protein. The calcium will aid in the stock strength and Health of the plant.
Nitrogen 71 lbs.
phosphorous 3 lbs.
potassium. 30 lbs.
sulfates 24 lbs.
calcium 58 lbs.
If you want better explanation my e-mail is good I’m leaving for Chicago and Indiana for meetings this weekend so plenty of windshield time
