Subject: GPS Speed Stability and Planter Drive

South Georgia
I am using radar speed out of my Trimble FmX as the ground speed for my Deere 2600 running SeedStar II to operate the VRD drive system on my Deere planter. I am ripping as I plant, and on rough ground. This results in my GPS speed being somewhat unstable. I think this is causing my Seedstar VRD system to be fussy. When I watch the target RPM as I plant, I see that number jumping around. When it gets far enough from the actual RPM it triggers a “drive failure” error and the VRD system stops. Has anyone else experienced this issue? How did you resolve it?
