| I had a Deere 323E and now have a Cat 289D3 both have had hand controls with a foot throttle and dial to set engine RPM maybe just what I have gotten used to but in 7-800 hours of operation don't think I have run it WOT more than an hour or two, always just use the foot throttle, I can't run a foot controlled machine to save my life as I am not coordinated with my feet but for some reason my mind runs the foot throttle and hand controls seamlessly together. If I try and run the throttle WOT I am very jerky when running machine when I can modulate the foot throttle to the speed I need to perform the task at hand I am very smooth. | |
