| I put up 200 acres of hay a year. I have never used a hay tedder until now. About half is 100% grass and the other half is alfalfa. I put the hay in 8-10 foot windrows. Give me some opinions on how you use your tedders. How soon after you cut hay do you tedd? How wide do you cut your windrows? And how soon after you tedd do you rake it back into windrows? How fast do you drive when tedding and rpm's? Any opinions on the better brands of tedders? This is all for baling dry hay. | |
