Red River Valley, MN
PLO NW MN - 5/8/2022 17:27

Next to nothing. Had a family function in the twin cities this week so just returning and driving a large chunk of the MN Crystal sugar region. Two fields I saw planted south of Felton MN I’m assuming Sugarbeet but could be corn. Other then that northing and large areas are freshly wet again.

When beet growers get going the whole crop could be in within 4-5 days. Last year we replanted June 6 and got around 26 ton on those reseeds. I would say that’s unusual but obviously possible.

Edit:good conditions crop probably in within 3 days.

Corn planted on old beet ground south of Felton. Some old beet ground on tiled ground got scratched NE of Borup Saturday afternoon, that is is for activity in the neighborhood.
