If you get a good restorer, be prepared for lots of phone calls, offering lots of options; "I can patch it up for this much, or I can rebuild it for this much."
I think there are many levels of restoration. From "basic, functional, to nearly like new, to optimal." I think it all depends on how much cash you want to sink into it.
