WCIL | Looks like drying process will start this weekend. We hope to be no tilling beans by late Tuesday on some lighter tiled ground. Have a day of corn yet on wetter dirt, so switched planter to beans. If forecast stays open, we plan to chase dry ground but give it that extra day if needed, but not too long! Lol. We did spray Gramoxone on the last corn fields Monday as they were getting green and glad we did now. Ripped ground so still have to f.c. them but man the 90s would have them knee high by time we plant. Assuming your standing water isn't deep, I'd think you may be able to go Wed. I think the 90s will put a different mood in our attitudes. Jacket weather makes drying slow! Good luck! | |
