Hmm... that problobly won't fix it. It sounds like it needs a windowns refresh/reinstall but if your not a techy type, I would recommend you take it to someone. How old is it? What are the specs? Go to System Information and that should tell you the Processer speed, installed physical memory (RAM). Also what are you using it for?
