Its takes a lot more than 1 year of crappy grass/flower hay to wreck fertilizer levels. Having it in CRP is building soils as well.

They will bale it every 3 years. Crp may hold the soil but every farm I've picked up or bought which is most of my acres over the years has been completely depleted of phosphorus. At 5 bales to acre its putting out alot more than crappy grass flower hay. Most crp in the area is 2 to 3 bales acre if you are lucky. Where do you think the other 2 to 3 bales to the acre came from?
